I would have to say that other that his Greatest Hits cd the best Tom Petty cd that i have heard is Full Moon Fever. It has alot of amazing songs like: Free Fallin', I Won't Back Down, A Face In The Crowd, and many more. It is an amazing cd, he has alot of amazing cd's, but i think that this cd is the best of his cd's, but the greatest hits cd tops this one.

I either gotta go with You're Gonna Get It or Damn The Torpedoes.

Greatest hits is just a compilation, but a good one at that. Smile

I'd have to say "Damn The Torpedoes" or "Long After Dark"

This is really tough, but... for me, I am going to go with "Damn The Torpedoes."

I agree Patty, it is tough! I would have to say I gravitate more to Full Moon Fever-I love Face in the Crowd. Also because of where I was in my life when the album came out, so I guess you could say for sentimental reasons, too.

It's a tie between Echo and Wildflowers, with Damn the Torpedoes being a close second.

I'm glad to hear people mentioning You're Gonna Get it, though. It's definitely a very underrated album.

Well Damn The Torpedoes is my favorite .It is definitely loaded and I was in Grade 9 when it came out so it (and Hard Promises) was the soundtrack to High School.
At the same time I really like every album he has put out ..Let Me Up is a barn burner and is probably my second favorite .
Long After Dark is definitely the most underrated!!!

"Long After Dark" definitely is underrated, although personally I think "You're Gonna Get It!" is their most underrated work.
