Whay aren't you people recording Tom Petty's Buried Treasure shows? THese are great shows, you all love them, why aren't you archiving them so folks that can't get XM can hear them. This has been done for Bob Dylan's Theme Time Radio Show since it's inception. I'm not talking about selling them, just spreading them around so everyone can enjoy.

Whitlo, if you think this is an important thing to do then why don't you take it upon yourself and do it.

You shouldn't have your hand out and complain that nothing is put in it. If one hand is asking, the other hand should be offering. Just my .02

After listening to a Mudcrutch show I asked Brett what she thought about the new Mudcrutch music. Her response: "It's great. I didn't know it would be so thrilling." Brett, age 6.
"All right, now we're at the part of the show that we just go rip roarin crazy. Are you ready to go rip roarin crazy with me?" Tom Petty 6/28/03 Summerfest

Gosh Thanks Petty4me, Gee I never thought of that. You should probably be working on the currant financial crisis.

Look, I'm not looking for a hand-out. My only thought is that perhaps, just perhaps, some of us don't have the means to record this fine show and would like to have it at our disposal, maybe to put on an Ipod, perhaps to share with folks that have never heard it. An seeing that I am not completely connected to my computer, as yet, and that it is really difficult to use when I'm driving, etc. I just thought that among this huge brain trust at Tom Petty.com, one of you might have had the foresight to archive the show. I guess I was wrong, so I'll leave you all so you can rave about "this weeks set-list"

Later
Whitlo

Fer cryin' out loud, the radios are practically free and its like $10 a Month for the service.

How much does a six-pack cost? Give up one or two if you're still buying 'em and enjoy great radio.

If you can't find $10.00 a month or so in your budget, may God bless you.

Crazy in love with Rock and Roll.

You know what Petty4me my desire for the show has soured some since my enounter with you. As you can see this is only my 3rd post as opposed to your thousands. You would think that with your time put in on this site that you would be a bit more hospiable. That and the fact that you are from Milwaukee, as I am too. And folks from Milwaukee are usually more congenial. Well enough, I don't need the shows, I don't want the shows and I certainly don't need you. asshole

Interesting how people sing a different tune, when it's convenient.

The TPATH fan club has some of the XM shows or did. The other benefits don't seem to apply anymore. I guess Fanfire still is airing the radio show repeats. That information is at www.highwaycompanion.com

I also see XM has a free trial and then it is 8 bucks a month for online listening.

I don't know if Tom Petty is doing anymore new shows though. Maybe someone else does?
