I may be crazy in my old age, but does anyone remember seeing a jersy style t-shirt from the Long After Dark Tour that was all white ? It had the original logo on the front and it said "It happened at the State Fair" on the back. I was at the Sacramento State Fair at Cal Expo when I saw TP&HB for the 1st time in 1981, but I was so broke by the end of the concert I couldn't afford one (and guess what ? I think the shirt was around $15.00) WOW INFLATION ! Big Grin But I have never been able to get that shirt out of my mind. So, are there any of you hard core fans like me that have one or that can confirm it even exists? Thanks!

It wouldn't have been 1981, but 1982 - LAD Tour was 1982.

I've seen shirts from that tour in light blue on eBay from time to time.

Sorry I couldn't be of more help.

The LAD tour did have jersey shirts that said "Let that sucker blast" on the back. I think I still have one that would fit my 5 year old better than it would me.

^ Yeah, can't pay that much for a shirt.

I have that "Into the Great Wide Open" shirt; wore it to the Atlanta show. $225 is hard to believe.

I have the LAD black tee with Tom in his You Got Lucky garb that says "Let that sucker blast" on the back. I wish I was the same size I was back in '81 so that I could actually wear it! I bought it on e-bay a few years ago. I sure didn't pay $225 for it. That's crazy.

I still wear my LAD t-shirt, a baseball jersey style. Funny coincidence was that when I wore it to a TP Show at Shoreline in the 90's I discovered that they just started selling that style again and some people were doing double-take's at my shirt 'cause it looked almost like the rest, but for the wear and the "Let that sucker blast" on the back.

But, I ain't gonna do it if it ain't real - Tom Petty

I can't say that I remember that one. I have the jersey with the group shot on the front and the Rickenbacker on the back. It is worn QUITE thin, but it still fits. Smile Oh and my tkt for that show was $10.
