I know this sounds dumb and i may not seem like a real fan but i need to find a store that carries the Highway Companion Special Addition, do you know of any in MN

I agree, Amazon is a good way to find a now somewhat "rare" CD such as Highway Companion Special Edition. And I'd recommend checking the "new and used" offerings via Amazon especially. I was against buying the Special Edition originally - having already bought the original edition; but then reading on these message boards from fans who liked the four new tracks, I figured I wanted it anyway. I was fortunate enough to find a seller on Amazon who was selling the special edition (new and sealed) for barely above $8, or just about $11 including shipping.

And I did greatly enjoy the album with the new tracks, I feel they really add to the album; a real shame they were left off (especially the two new songs, "Home" and "Around the Roses"). One warning though, if you have the special edition in your car, don't mistake the leather-like album cover for your wallet, as I once did. Yeah, at one point I really thought I had my wallet in pocket, and pulled out - Tom Petty's Highway Companion, Special Edition! Doh!
