Basically, Folding@home uses your unused CPU cycles to help scientists study protein folding, which can furthermore help them cure diseases. You don't even need a fancy computer, just one that runs. It doesn't disrupt the other programs, either. It's low-priority. Basically, the money that they don't spend on supercomputers can be spent on actual research. So I was thinking, why not make a team? Basically it's just a bunch of us running Folding and let's see how much workunits we can return. **********
