I was just sitting here opening up some new CD's and a thought came to me. I wonder what fairly insignificant things get people angry and annoyed.

You can guess what my first one is.

Yup, that strip of sticky tape across the top of CD's. Has anyone EVER got that off all in one go? I usually end up pulling where it says PULL HERE, and end up with about 43 different pieces of tape still stuck to the top.

^No joke. I give them to the kids to open as long as they don't eat the plastic.

Mine, if you take the last cup of coffee, and it's only 9:15 a.m., are you really that busy where you can't start another pot?

Not worth the WTF, but it still slips out on occasion.

When I try to open the door to get to my car, and just the tremor from me turning the knob causes my brother's pile of shoes to fall in front of the door so I have to stop and pick them all up before I can leave...Arrghh

I get annoyed when someone, instead of telling you (or someone else) that they've done something incorrectly, they start talking loudly about how somebody fucked up. What's with that?

When you are in a rush in the morning... sling your toast in the toaster...and come back to it a few minutes later to find it not done because someone has switched off the plug at the wall socket !!! I just want to kill !!!!!!!!

Postit notes have an infuriating tiny little tag strip that you can't get hold of to undo the pack..it always takes me 5 minutes to get the bl....dy WRAPPER OFF !!!

When you break your neck to try to get to a phone that has been ringing for a while only to find it is the WRONG NUMBER Grrrrrrrrr !!

When people are eating while they're on the phone with you OR - just plain loud eaters. It annoys me because it makes my stomach turn. Ha!

^O yuck, yeah!!!!

Gosh, where do I start??
Being in a hurry in the morning and then keep dropping things!! Or when I'm doing my shopping, I want to do that as fast as I possibly can and there are all these slow moving people all over the freakin' shop!! Somehow it seems that the people who have all the time in the world, always go shopping at the exact same time as me!!!! Mad Roll Eyes

Bad table manners.

Noisy eaters
People that chew with their mouths open
People that talk with their mouths full
People who chew and "crack" gum loudly

As a former "CD retail professional," (ha, if there is such a thing!), let me tell you a trick:

1. First, get the outer plastic off the CD. If you have trouble with this, find a table or counter top surface with a sharp 90 degree angle at it's ledge, and run the CD's spine quickly and authoritatively, starting under the ledge and pulling it toward you, against the table/counter ledge. This should shred the plastic enough on the spine for you to more easily get the plastic off.

2. Do not try to peel the sticky label on the top of the CD off. Instead, unlatch the joint at the bottom left corner of the CD -- the joint that connects the top part of the jewel case to the bottom part. Pull the top part of the jewel case up and away from you.

3. The top and bottom parts of the jewel case will separate, and the sticky label will stay with one or the other, but it's underneath sticky side will be half-exposed so you can easily grab it and pull it off in one piece.

Try it! It seriously only takes about 4 seconds to open a CD this way. Smile

That is the most confusing thing I've ever seen - got Echo today and got that sticky thing off in one go with no residue!!!

You pull that "pull" tab, but only until you can get that whole side to peel off so it's only attached on one side, then you pull the whole side off at once - not corner to corner - make sense?

It really annoys me when my husband puts dishes in the dishwasher - he doesn't know how to load it correctly so you get the maximum amount of dishes in it. So then I end up unloading about half of it and reloading it correctly so a full load gets washed and water doesn't go to waste.

Huh, I guess I should be happy that he is trying to help Smile

There is ALOT of happiness in anticipation.

^ Depends on how long you have to wait and what you have to occupy your time...

Ahh, here's another one.

When you're anticipating something, and NOTHING is engaging enough to keep your mind off of it. Smile

OMG, my co-worker does that ALL the time. She is 54 years old and cracks her gum! I will yell at her and 15 minutes later she is doing it again. Next day, gum in, cracking all over again. She does not get it!!!! I have noticed that less "kids" do this...its the "mature" adults. Drives me crazy (excuse me, crazier!)

I find the coworker with the cell phone that plays a SCREAMING FIRE TRUCK SIREN as her ringtone to be extremely annoying. I swear I am going to steal it out of her purse and flush it down the toliet one of these days.

And it’s hard to say
Who you are these days
But you run on anyway
Don’t you baby?
