Wow! Just look what can happen in a day!

ckboo...was he saying anything you found interesting? You don't wanna work for a windbag. Sure you want the job, but its gotta be the right fit.

dutchie...hope things go well for your Mom tomorrow. Is she on the right painkiller, or has it lost effectiveness? Is there some type of relief you can do? (Hot pad w/ cold compresses? Some gentle massage? You would be amazed at what just holding someone and talking can do. Or maybe you wouldn't...being as intuitive as you are. Maybe just activites to take her mind off the pain. Reading a great tale is a good one. Family photo albums? Good luck!) And take part of your first chack and buy yourself a treat! You earned it!

Tammy??? WHAT temporary relief? You were so hot to get this sugery, I MUST know what the magic temporary deal is! The Holidays are 60 days away!

Mike...where is my wet noodle? Don't you go playing that Honeybee song unless you know what you are doing! Maybe the 15 year old crowd doesn't "get it"...but the 30 year old crowd does. You be careful you don't become a teacher magnet. YOU said you weren't looking for a girlfriend right away. Can't you play a couple Beach Boy numbers instead, like a good boy?

<<< And as for ME, I didn't think that you could have so much fun at work and vertical. I had a great day! So great I wish I had time to tell ya. It was filled with awesome and pleasant surprises, much like I was at a movie. I'm almost afraid that I will have to somehow PAY for this great great day! Smile

<had an awesome day today. I feel like I got so much done and gave good attention to my students. Of course, that's because half of them were not in class today. But, hey, I'll take good days however they come!

^ Sorry and not sure why you aren't feeling well. Asparagus? Smile How did the interview go? I'm having trouble posting, so this will be "it" for the night. I guess you and I will just have to agree to disagree about the tee shirts. One's idea of good taste is not universal. This is as it should be. I wish you every happiness, chickieboo. (asparagus!) Ooops. Gotta take care of that cough. And I loved that Mark Knopfler lyric. He's one class act. Have a great day tomorrow! Will be thinkin' about cha! Wink

^Thanks Bluegill. And just for the record...I wasn't saying I thought it was in good taste to wear such a thing...but she should have the right to do so. Anyway...the interviews went ok, thanks...should hear about one of them tomorrow (I hope!). Have a good night and thanks again. Smile

You are just so sweet, Blue!! Thanks for those kind words and the advice. With my mom it's a bit complicated, she has a bowel disease, which makes her severely allergic to gluten and so she can't just take any painkiller. She gets painrelief that's made especially for her, without gluten or lactose. Because of that disease she has a severe lack of calcium in her bones, so she breaks her bones very easy!!
She fell last week and this is the result. They don't think she broke anything this time, but we're not sure yet. For now she was told to rest a lot, keep it warm and try to move around a little bit, but I saw in how much pain she was when she tried that! Frown I think she will ask her own dr. to pay her a visit on Monday. She knows my mom through and through.
But we are all taking good care of her. Like she did for me for two days when I was lying on a matras on the floor in my livingroom with a hernia two years ago!! Eek That's what family is for, right? Smile O, and as for the money I earned this week: I will spend it wisely!! I'm going on holiday to England in 5 weeks, so I'm saving it all up for that. I wanna be able to enjoy my trip and buy stuff for myself, without feeling bad about it!! Wink

> need to go clean my livingroom. I have visitors on Sunday and it's a bit of a mess here!! I'd better start now, before I change my mind! Big Grin Roll Eyes
> Had a much needed haircut today! I looked a bit neglected!! Big Grin

^ Oh yes. Playing to the click track is hard!!!
Images of an old Slavic violin teacher come to mind, forcing me to play etudes to a metronome, "Good, now, again, from the begining!" Ow, my fingers. I really should have practiced more. Razz

I can't figure out how those drummers to it! Big Grin
