That is bizarre. You should get some screens or something.

I'm taking Brett to see the Jonas Brothers tonight. Her very first concert - I'm kindof heartbroken that TPATH isn't going to be her very first concert Frown Anyway, I broke the cardinal rule and bought ticket from a ticket broker this morning. But it is OK b/c I paid $19 for tickets that originally were $65 so actually they lost money on the tickets, not gained....

Now I have to find my earplugs or do you think I could sit and listen to TPATH on my ipod during the show - I wonder if they'll let my ipod past security???

While singing to TPATH, "Quiet Mommy, I'm trying to listen to Thomas." Brett, age 5.
After listening to a Mudcrutch show I asked Brett what she thought about the new Mudcrutch music. Her response: "It's great. I didn't know it would be so thrilling." Brett, age 6.
"All right, now we're at the part of the show that we just go rip roarin crazy. Are you ready to go rip roarin crazy with me?" Tom Petty 6/28/03 Summerfest
Baby, those few hours linger on in my head forever...

^ I just called the Bradley Center, no problem bringing in my ipod. AND I have to sit through 2 opening acts... someone I've never heard of and the Sparks american idol chick. What we do for our kids... I'm a damn GREAT mom!!!

I hope they don't cover TPATH tonight - I might just get sick if they do. However, there would be one song I would know! hahaha

Try the ipod. Try industrial earplugs. Whatever works best. You will need something to drown out all that screaming. When I took my daughter and her little friends to a NSYNC Concert w/Brittany Spears opening, the screaming is what did me in. It was quite an experience for me! The girls loved it and were beside themselves. They were so worn out after and had no voices. It was a quiet trip home.

Have something handy for that headache you may get!

Teach them concert etiquette early I say.

Thankfully gr8fuldaughter's taste in music has evolved.

By the way, Petty4me, my daughter still asks about you after meeting you in Minneapolis. You made quite an impression. Smile

Have fun and enjoy your daughter's first concert experience.

Me is beginning to see the world in storyboard format. Attempting to finish a 14 piece board by tomorrow. Rough. Thankful this is not an animation storyboard. Don't have to worry about showing how things will move. Only visualize the story.

Hoping storyboarding might help hold the senility at bay...Glad I have a project to work on this summer.

The Jonas Brothers have covered TP?

^You are still so young. Live life while you can. Focus on the positive. And thank you for so much friendship over the years.

Once I finish this storyboard I really have to get around to passing on the wedding present. At this point it is beginning to be a 1st anniversary present. At least I finished the non-digital part of it... Roll Eyes

Need I say it. Deadlines. Razz Eek

A few hours later still the same way, about 2 hours of sleep.

Strange as I used to be able to down 2 litres of milk in a day, now I can barely get half a litre.

I survived the Jonas Brothers concert last night. Seriously it was bad but Brett had fun so that's great. Luckily by 9:15pm (45 minutes into the Jonas') she was tired, it was too loud, they didn't have rootbeer floats, so she asked if we left how much of the concert would she miss. Quick thinking on my part: 5 minutes. OK she was ready to go. We really missed another dreadful hour of the show but shhhhhh, don't tell her Big Grin

bored, bored, bored.
I feel stuck here at work, while I have so many things to do at home! I'm usually not a clock-watcher, except for today. Need to find something to work on...for three more hours.

Ouch!!

A few years ago I got a really terrible sunburn (the idiots at summer camp forgot to put sunscreen on me Roll Eyes) , so bad I couldn't even sleep because the pajamas would rub against my back and hurt it. Then a day or two later the dead skin started peeling off and made a huge mess.
