Just drove out to Rasputin Records on my way home from work and eagerly went to the M's in the vinyl section to get the Mudcrutch EP. To my chagrin, it wasn't there. So I asked the dude and he went into the back and got it from the deliveries. I popped the cd in and listened to the three shorter tracks driving home and saved Crystal River for the record player...took a big swig of cough syrup with codeine (I have a cold) and kicked back on the couch and spun the black circle....good stuff

Seems its also good with oxycondone, chased with pineapple juice and ibuprophine. Wondering if they'll make a record you don't actually have to be blotto to enjoy. Wink

Of course you don't need to take drugs to enjoy the music...unless its Hannity's Freedom Concert starring Lee Greenwood

I saw Lee Greenwood in concert! It was a local fair sooo long ago. He was at the height of "I'm Proud to Be An American, Where At Least I Know I'm Free..."

And I don't recall even being on any medication!

You know, I've often thought of Lee Greenwood as The American Girl ideal, only of the opposite sex. Jesus, Elvis, Apple Pie, Wave the flag. Can't you see it??

Thanks for pulling THAT memory out of the depths of my cranium. At least I know I still have some long term memory. Say...what is happening with your buddy Alaska (How do you abbrievate Alaska? AK?) Sen. Ted Stevens? Is he a relative? I've often thought that the internet is a big piece of construction equipment. Like a steamroller. Or a supreme champion of the game "rock, paper, scissors".

Ted Stevens is currently winning his re-election bid, despite being convicted on seven felony counts of corruption a few weeks ago. They are still counting all the absentee ballots, but I believe Stevens has a lead of several thousand votes. Its fishy to say the least

Meanwhile, Bush recently made Lee Greenwood some kind of ambassador of the arts r some shit
