I forgot to put that one in. In fact, as you probably realized I forget all the older ones. Never mind.

I Can't Fight It. I am so happy I got to see them perform it live in Malibu!!!

While singing to TPATH, "Quiet Mommy, I'm trying to listen to Thomas." Brett, age 5.
After listening to a Mudcrutch show I asked Brett what she thought about the new Mudcrutch music. Her response: "It's great. I didn't know it would be so thrilling." Brett, age 6.
"All right, now we're at the part of the show that we just go rip roarin crazy. Are you ready to go rip roarin crazy with me?" Tom Petty 6/28/03 Summerfest
Baby, those few hours linger on in my head forever...

All good stuff, but as a song, "Orphan of the Storm" has my vote. Incredible song.

It's all good. "Crystal River" wins my vote. It's my go-to song in times of stress when I just need to chill.

I voted "Scare Easy", but "This is A Good Street" is the one that I push "repeat" on over and over again.

Ohh this was tough. I chose "The Wrong Thing To Do," but it's really a tie between Love of the Bayou, This is a Good Street (I repeat that one, too...), and Bootleg Flyer.

The whole album is great but I’m with the birdfeeder par excellence as far as favorite song. Each Mudcrutch member shines in it plus it’s always good to love. Cue the crickets, ready TL? You nailed the opening and of course Mr. Marsh would be comfortable in a bayou. The other 3 with deeper pockets know how to treat a song, always have. Where dat gris gris bag? There it is...

...surpise us again. No need to let the cat out of the bag beforehand, you sold them already in the song above anyway. We'd rather listen than need to know. Fresh Mud and/or Heartbreak. Partial to Heartbreak though, it's hard to forget what cut your rock and roll teeth best.

The dollar is gaining strength, your fans across the pond won't seem to mind. Safe travels if youse go...

Of course we realize that some of those songs are covers and not considered Mudcrutch songs right.

Taking that into account I voted for Lover of the Bayou, but Scare Easy would be my number 2.

Don't It Get Weird

http://dogontherunmusic.blogspot.com/

hello CD listeners, we have come to the point on this album where those listening on cassette or records will have to stand up or sit down and turn over record or tape. In fairness to those listeners we will now take a few seconds before we begin side two... Thank you... Here's side two - tom petty, 1989

Bootleg Flyer (formerally known as Ticket Home) gets my vote. Sentimental reasons. Cool

Then it has to be Crystal River. I cannot play that song while driving. I will get into an accident, lol. Razz

^I swear Crystal River has me trained to lay down, close my eyes, and dream of sleeping by a running stream. It is my favorite Mudcrutch song. Topanga Cowgirl runs a close second. For my own sentimental reasons. But all the rest work just fine too!
