Wouldn't surprise me a bit, you would be surprised at where the Heartbreakers show up for concerts. Wink

Thanks soooo much Winkfor reminding me about Roger Waters, who is also playing tonight. You are reminding me it's not to late to dig up some tickets somewhere. I really shouldn't.

I guess I should have gone Friday. Then I could have crossed another Hearbreaker off my list of Heartbreakers to meet Smile

I went up during set change at The Greek and Benmont came out and had something he needed to do on the front of the stage. I was standing right there and a group of people I didn't know had kinda gathered around the wall by the stage door in a circle.

I saw him and I went HI BEN.....(saw a striken look in his eye so I lef off the mont.) No one did a thing just kept talking. He nodded and gave me a thumbs up on the way back in.

Does that count as meeting? LOL

A couple times Benmont has called into the radio station that I listen to. Actually the times he called in were to talk to Jim Ladd, the Last DJ.

It may be Tom's birthday, but I vote Benmont somehow most deserving of a good thorough birthday spanking session.

I met a couple after the Indian Wells show who live just outside of LA that say they see Benmont all the time in Los Angeles. Places like the movie theatre and music venues. They say he is a really nice guy.

He is usually with a red headed woman. Wife or girlfriend? Anyone know?

Bird watching is a very popular hobby around here. I went out with a bunch of birders once. Was appalled at the amount of pancakes and coffee they could scarf down before sun-up...

Anyway, I don't know, but I think I read it in Peterson's that the Benmont Finch is often in the company of the Red Haired Squalker...When so, you will observe him at his most content, engaging quietly in reserved behavior and perhaps chirping melodiously.

All kidding aside, and not to invade the man's privacy any moreso, I think that the red haired lady is his long time girlfriend, Victoria.

I haven't met either of them, but have spoken to some that have. We all now how nice Benmont can be, and she seems well suited to his company. She can be outgoing and funny. She has been seen accompanying him on West Coast tour dates during previous swings.

Everyone deserves to be happy. Well...most everyone Wink

My reason for asking was not to violate his privacy, of course, but to avoid a major faus pax should I ever have the opportunity and good luck to run into them myself someday. Of course if I did I probably wouldn't approach them anyway. I might look a little though Wink

^on second thought, who am I kidding? I wouldn't normally approach someone like that, but Benmont???? I would kick myself for the rest of my life if I didn't take the opportunity.

Sorry, Benmont. I just can't help myself.

^And when you got tired of kicking yourself, I would kick you! So, yes, you better talk to Ben if you get the chance. And then tell me every detail immediately.

TPATH may always come first, but be heartened that it is also always decidedly morepathetic to have excessive available time for internet posting than it is to have too little such time....
