Long story short, my wife had been arrested last tour and I missed back to back shows with floor seats. I'll get over it eventually, or so I've been told.

I think she'll stay out of trouble this year. Just in case, I'm planning at least one show out of town with a no early return clause on the trip.

;0)

Wow, I'm afraid to ask what happened But being noisy what happened? Eek

I guess Denver, if they gotta do a festival, will be GA. We shall see.

...no early return. lol

Nothing major, just a few extra beers, getting out of hand and then hauled away. It's all been fixed since then, but I'm still sad that I didn't get to see PJ and TP together, two nights in a row.

This year is my year though. I can arrange a work trip to the SF Bay Area for that show and hit the local Denver show as well...assuming my company hasn't relo'd me to Paris or Brussels by then. Hard choice between 2 TP shows and living in Europe for a couple years.

Heartbreakers in the States outweighs any time in Europe. lol They can keep their ol Euro dollars.

I am very curious about this upcoming festival for Denver. The last one I went to in Denver was at Bear's Stadium in the 60's.

^So i'm guessing in Denver it's going to be a whole bunch of bands over a 2 day period?

The issue came up before the day of the concert, and she was scheduled to stay home with the kids. :0)

I guess my lesson is karmic: schedule a babysitter and plan on taking the wife with me this time.

Tom Petty and Pearl Jam together two nights in a row? I feel for you man, it would take me a while to forget about that too. My two favorite bands. Had to see them on separate dates in '06 because they didn't do any of those shows together around here.

I hope it works out for you this year.

OMG if that had been Pete (my husband) I would have totally let him be hauled off to jail, gone and enjoyed the show by myself and dealt with Pete the next morning - yes, I would have let him stay in jail overnight! And Yes I still would have had a great time at the show, even tho he was sitting in jail - the dumbass Big Grin Big Grin Big Grin

While singing to TPATH, "Quiet Mommy, I'm trying to listen to Thomas." Brett, age 5.
After listening to a Mudcrutch show I asked Brett what she thought about the new Mudcrutch music. Her response: "It's great. I didn't know it would be so thrilling." Brett, age 6.
"All right, now we're at the part of the show that we just go rip roarin crazy. Are you ready to go rip roarin crazy with me?" Tom Petty 6/28/03 Summerfest

^lol

The cops in Denver are very weird. The people voted to make marijuana in the City of Denver but no State law legalizing it. So the police in Denver decide to up their marijuana arrests rather than just do what they usually did.

Goofy cops.

Again I'm so sorry your show got ruined. I'm with petty4me go get them later. At least you knew where she was.
