every time i walk into a crowded bar,a concert
stores whatever,i'm told i look JUST LIKE TOM
PETTY..
it's pretty cool! i meet a lot of women and
a lot of people..
sometimes they believe i'm actually him..
i had a guy walk up to me saying "just sign it
please,my parents won't believe it!"
and pops out a camera phone..takes a picture.
has me sign his twenty dollar bill because that's all he had to write on..
and walks away all happy..

i was in vegas,in a hugh ballroom of a major hotel we got invited to at the last minute.
open bar,free food..it was cool..they had the
beatles,elvis,the doors,tina turner inpersonators..when jim morrison was on stage i was takeing a picture and he said "tom petty,my
favorite performer of all time is here.."
and everyone in the ballroom began to clap..
it was so damm coool!!!
it's cool to be king..i know what he means..
people say i look like petty when my hair is long but not so much when it's short..
i went to see tphb with jackson brown in columbus ohio dec 4,2002...after jackson brown
i walked around and shook hands with a ton of people...everyone had their hands out..it was fun..i felt like i was running for office..i got
up to the 4th row and the usher tried to throw
me out and a cop stoped him..
it was pretty cool...nicest thing a cop ever did
at a concert for me..
i won 200 bucks in a costume contest 2 years ago.and tickets to a comcert(greg almond and friends)
the year before i won 2nd place which was concert tickets to live.
i would really like to meet tom but i doubt it
will ever happen..
i know he's coming to town soon..i will be seeing him again...i hope he see's me..

I've had a lot of the same experiences that you've had, looking like Petty, although I've refused to sign Tom Petty on an autograph. I just never felt right about that, but that's just me. It's pretty cool that you can embrace being a look-alike. I've had a tendancy to shy away from it, although I have considered forming a Petty tribute band since, in my previous band, people always wanted me to do Petty songs because of the way I look. I don't go to his concerts anymore, cause I really don't like the attention in that type of situation, but I love their music and feel they are absolutely, without a doubt, the best live band there is today. Anyway, thanks for sharing your pics, Edward.

no i hafe to say other then the hair you dont look much like tom petty the bottom lip is too big and not wide,i remember when tom's two frount two teeth where over each other it seen's hes fixed that since he was young,if you realy want to look like tom then it will take plastic sergery i dont recomend it, just live your own life it's not good to look like a celeberty and its very dangerous,with out body guard's just ask britany marks she knows,i have body guards , but thay don't hang around me much i perfur to be with out them,
