Do you think thatthese shoes are the same as the ones in Letting You Go at 2:05?

Any help would be appreciated.

I have always thought the shoes he wore in the 80's. Were the wrestling shoes. They didn't have a thick sole .

They are Basketball shoes, or High Tops that were very popular in the 80s

Nothing to complicated, back then there were only one or two models of basketball shoes whereas today there are hundreds!
