I think it would be simply perfect if Tom sang "Little Boxes" for the Showtime series Weeds. Every week they have a new person sing the opening song and I think it would be great if they could get Tom to do it. I think he would love the song too.

We used to sing that song Little Boxes when I was 9 or 10.

The neighbors had all these Pete Seeger records we would listen to.

I don't get Showtime but that would be something I suppose he could do.

I'd much rather see him tour though.

Southern Accents would be the one. If I had to narrow down a shortlist of his finest, one of his finest songs ever is undoubtedly Southern Accents, if you have ever seen or heard him sing this in concert, it is an emotional experience and it is obvious this song is most special to Tom.

It would be a hoot to hear Girl on LSD, though

Honey don't walk out I'm too drunk to follow
You know you won't feel this way tomorrow
Well, maybe I'm a little rough around the edges
Inside a little hollow
I get faced with some things sometimes
That are so hard to swallow
Hey hey hey!

I was born a rebel
Down in Dixie on a Sunday morning
Yeah with one foot in the grave
And one foot on the pedal
I was born a rebel

There are so many:

A Woman in Love
Rebels
Change of Heart
Zombie Zoo (that would be fun)

Anything from the 80's that is not in the usual setlist.

Going to the Both Shows in Boston 6/13-14! I was pumped to see opening nights set list which had The Waiting (which he has not played live in awhile) and Straight into Darkness(he still does not like the place he was in when he wrote Long After Dark --but that is one of my fav albums---I learned to Play TPHB to this album). Hope he brings Straight....back.

After listening to a Mudcrutch show I asked Brett what she thought about the new Mudcrutch music. Her response: "It's great. I didn't know it would be so thrilling." Brett, age 6.

I have a simple request ...

Don't Do Me Like That

It is my 6 year old daughter's favorite song and she knows it by heart. If Tom could sing that in Milwaukee, Chicago, Minneapolis or Glendale, I'd be one happy camper Smile

Now there's a trifecta that would pay off big for the way back set.
