I think it would be simply perfect if Tom sang "Little Boxes" for the Showtime series Weeds. Every week they have a new person sing the opening song and I think it would be great if they could get Tom to do it. I think he would love the song too.

We used to sing that song Little Boxes when I was 9 or 10.

Southern Accents would be the one. If I had to narrow down a shortlist of his finest, one of his finest songs ever is undoubtedly Southern Accents, if you have ever seen or heard him sing this in concert, it is an emotional experience and it is obvious this song is most special to Tom.

Going to the Both Shows in Boston 6/13-14! I was pumped to see opening nights set list which had The Waiting (which he has not played live in awhile) and Straight into Darkness(he still does not like the place he was in when he wrote Long After Dark --but that is one of my fav albums---I learned to Play TPHB to this album). Hope he brings Straight....back.

I have a simple request ...
Don't Do Me Like That It is my 6 year old daughter's favorite song and she knows it by heart. I saw Fooled Again in Mansfield, MA in 2006. AMAZING, and such a surprise!!
I'd love to hear A One Story Town, Change of Heart, Straight into Darkness, Finding Out...any of the amazing ones off Long After Dark haha. So many others too..Too Good to Be True, Out in the Cold, Crawling Back to You, Wild One Forever, Woman in Love....wow |
