To Everyone Who Participates In This Bulletin Board:

Over the last couple of days there have been many complaints about objectionable posts, deleted posts, speculation on who the "enemies" are, demands for explanations and harmful accusations and insinuations.

I would like to remind you of the announcement that was posted when the bulletin board first began to be moderated. The moderating was initiated in the first place because many of the bulletin board participants requested it. The Moderators do everything they can to figure out and deal with who is creating or encouraging trouble on the board.

"The Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers Bulletin Board will now be moderated, at the sole discretion of Administration.

This is a Bulletin Board for Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers' fans to communicate with other Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers' fans.

As stated in the Forum Rules, Policies, and Disclaimers:

"To participate in the Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers' message board, you must agree to abide by our rules and policies. - You will not post material that is racist, sexist, homophobic, defamatory, illegal, harassing or threatening to others in nature. - You will not advertise or solicit other members to buy, sell or peruse any products or services through this discussion forum."

Any offensive posts or threads in violation of the above policies will be deleted - no questions asked - no explanations."


The Moderators of the board will not respond to any emails, private messages or posts.

If you don't understand what the statements "at the sole discretion of Administration," "no questions asked - no explanations" or "Moderators of the board will not respond" mean......ask someone else. If you still don't understand, feel free to choose not to participate in the bulletin board.
