If anyone doesn't believe the saying about "casting your bread upon the waters" I'm telling you, you'd better believe.

This summer we played a benefit for the local hospice, helped raise $15,000. That alone would have been enough. One of the people that heard us was a local DJ called "Freak." His station decided to co-sponsor (along with Miller) a show at the famed Rialto Square Theatre in Joliet. Guess who he recommended? Us!

So we're playing there on Black Wednesday (Nov. 25) from 5-8:30. If anyone wishes tickets, PM me and I'll pass them on, we're getting a generous amount to give out and the radio station will be giving them out as well.

If you're not in the area (Chicagoland) the station (WRXQ) streams out over the internet. I'm not sure if or when but it's possible you may hear our playing. We're also making a video of the show and we'll be putting that out for everyone to see, probably on Youtube.

For those of you who might complain about the "money" of Tribute bands, let me say this.
One, this is a fundraiser for the Theatre.
Two, after paying the video people and lights and sound, I'll be lucky to break even. It's all about the love of the music and being in front of a live audience.

I'm at the age now where if someone says they have acid, I assume they're talking about reflux.

Tomorrow's the day! We've given out our comped tickets, the station has given out their share as well. Should have a big crowd of Petty fans. If you'd like you can try listening to WRXQ 100.7 they stream on the internet. I'm sure the station will be cutting out to the event since their main DJ will be hosting the show. Pretty good rock station too.
We'll be putting some of the show on Youtube, check us out, it's good to get feedback, there's lots of great musicians on this board. Later, got to practice.
