I can't speak for the other TPATH Tribute bands but it's not about money. I like to refer my band Petty Profit$ as the most aptly named band in the world. We do it because we love the music and want to keep playing past the age of "trying to make it big."
We've also got to do some really cool benefits for charity, one of whom made $15,000 for Joliet (IL) hospice. We're doing another next month for someone who has big medical bills they can't pay.
If you don't like Tribute bands, just don't go. It's as simple as that.

Petty Thief is back at Forecasters Ale House at the Red Hook Brewery in Woodinville on Friday night, 9:00pm-11:30pm. NO COVER CHARGE!

Saturday night we are at Benders Music and Sports Bar in So. Renton. Opening for us is Rane Stone, lead singer for the great local Alice in Chains tribute "Jar of Flies". Rane and his guitarist, JT, will play a one hour opening set of Alice in Chains, Soundgarden on other 90's Alt Rock classics, along with a few of Rane's original tunes, UNPLUGGED!!! Petty Thief hits the stage at 10:30pm and plays until closing. NO COVER CHARGE!

So you Seattle Petty freaks come out and join us!!....it's a great weekend to get wrecked!!
