"I won't back down" was used at the Republican National Convention while broadcast on the NBC evening news. Is Petty supporting John McCain?

The Republican Party used lots of music without the artist's permission so who knows?

I've never taken Tom Petty's music as political. It's just for fun.

He may not support anyone at all!!! lol

I just heard "Learning to Fly" on MSNBC--used as a transition after a story about early voting. This was Sat. morning, "Morning Joe"--about 8:50 am. Did anyone else catch it?

I just love to hear a TPATH song in unexpected places like this. Smile
