Has anyone listened to this station? I've tuned in several times an found it quite interesting. I love listening to Hawaiian songs, I think it sounds romantic.

This station is run by 'The Last DJ's' is non-profit and no commercials. It's no wonder that Tom donated his autographed copy of 'The Live Anthology' this station is right up his alley.

So if you haven't listened you might want to. Right now they are doing a fund drive so there's alot of talk on the subject. This station runs on donations.

It's cool that the DJ's have their 'freedom of choice, to say what they want to say'.........

someone just snagged the anthology, signed by Tom, for a $150.00 donation to the station. How cool!

(They have been playing Mudcrutch and Blue Stingrays and gave a nice shout out to Tom and Mike and East End Management for supporting the station)

[edit: Tom is talking to the DJ now on the station on the air

That was too f'ing cool. I guess Tom is a big supporter of community radio Smile They interviewed him and Tom mentioned having 15 or so songs in the can for a new album and mentioned the possibility of a summer(?) next year release. ]

I re-sent the request to what might be a more appropriate email address at the station since I have not heard back from my prior message.

Keep in mind it is a small community radio station and there may not be someone hanging around to respond to pesky email requests right away.

If I do get a transcript or link to a replay I will be sure to pass it on ASAP. It would be good for people to get the info straight from Tom and not a partial replay from a guy who should have been taking notes (me). Smile

Thanks Relic for your efforts! Smile

It would be really NICE Wink if Tom would come on here and tell us himself what he already told the people of Kaua'i.
