^Thank you So Much!! Smile

Deluxe Set, here I come!! Big Grin

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
*The show's most thrilling moment, "Don't Come Around Here No More," with Nicks on backing vocals and tambourine, ended in a crashing, surreally strobe-lit jam with both Petty and Nicks thrashing like teenagers. In that moment, their silky blond hair flying, flash frozen in the strobe's white light, they seemed both timeless and immediate, classic and forever young.*
~Rolling Stone Magazine~
** No matter what is going on in the world or what tepid drivel is pouring out of the radio, just remember that somewhere out there, Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers are rocking for all of us.**
***Until you've played "Running Down a Dream" with Steve Ferrone, you haven't really lived.***
This is how I understand it, Petty's Girl:
1) The digital tracks sold through Ticketmaster (and through tompettysuperhighwaytour.com) are the same 48 songs that will be on the 4 CD set.
2) The deluxe CD set includes 5 CDs with 62 tracks, 14 more than the basic 4 CD set and/or the digital album.
3) The vinyl deluxe set has 51 tracks (the 48 that are included with the 4 CD and/or the digital album) plus three bonus tracks.
I expect that those three extra tracks will be 3 of the 14 extra tracks on the deluxe 5 CD set, but I don't know for sure, and they haven't specified that.
When the first 3 digital Superhighway tour downloads become available starting Tuesday, I expect they will explain things more thoroughly as they said they would. They mentioned having FAQs, which would be a good idea.
I hope this helps a bit. Smile
Preview of Superhighway Tour now up. Nightwatchman available to download as a preview, A Woman in Love is also up but you need to buy a ticket to get it. You can preview all the memorabilia associated with Nightwatchman, though. The Shows page lists the venues for the upcoming tracks, but no song titles!
Doesn't seem to work for non-US customers to register - gone via ticketmaster, and it seems to be set up only for US sales. Frown
Per Mudcrutch Farm Site:
yes, went via ticketmaster, still only available for US customers: try and check out, no dropdown box for non-US territories; it advises you to choose a delivery method for international, loops you back to the same page, with only an option for US delivery. Very frustrating.
I would ask Ryan (Mudcrutch) on Mudcrutch Farm
He knows everything.
^ the internet tour is an advanced preview of the box set. Everything presented on the internet tour will be on the box set to my knowledge.
There are some exclusives probably on the internet tour as it pertains to TP's track commentary...various old reviews...vintage photos and tour memorabilia.
Oh geez. Do you have a telephone number for ticketmaster. Maybe there is a 1-800?
While singing to TPATH, "Quiet Mommy, I'm trying to listen to Thomas." Brett, age 5.
After listening to a Mudcrutch show I asked Brett what she thought about the new Mudcrutch music. Her response: "It's great. I didn't know it would be so thrilling." Brett, age 6.
"All right, now we're at the part of the show that we just go rip roarin crazy. Are you ready to go rip roarin crazy with me?" Tom Petty 6/28/03 Summerfest
Baby, those few hours linger on in my head forever...
I checked out the preview!
Question: when they ask you to sign up for the FORUMS - is it THIS forum, or a unique Superhighway Tour Forum?
