Dear Heartbreakers,

Last tour I saw a pair of $1.99 flip-flops that used the word "Heartbreaker" - in large type - as the main design element. I bought them in your honor and wore them to the MSG show. My feet ended up wet with beer, but I guess that's to be expected.

I considered getting a case of them and throwing 'em onstage, but there were only a few left in the store and I thought every Heartbreaker should have an equal opportunity, plus I didn't want to frighten you by throwing odd shit at the stage.

I must now apologize for your lack of appropriate footwear.

Oh, and did I mention that they were only available in pink and purple? Wonder if anyone would have been be brave and crazy enough to wear 'em.... and if anyone has small enough feet.

^ Oh my God, that made my day! Big Grin

Dear Heartbreakers,

Thanks for playing Gloria at the Newark Show. That song completed my life Smile. Shout would have been a fun Encore song. Maybe next time....

Yeah and it's over before you know it

Hi! Attention Atlanta Fans Please Read the Following:

For those going to the Atlanta show at Encore next Wednesday night please put your name on "THE BIG CONCERT LIST" so we can PM you and let you know about the 'Meet-up' antics that you will want to be part of and it will only take a couple of minutes of your time and you surely will want to be part of the action! We're trying to find a convenient place to meet-up please PM me if you have any suggestions. From another thread I had suggested:

“Chi, I'd thought of doing a barbecue beforehand again but having not actually having been to this venue plus it's got all sorts of parking lots with shuttles wouldn't want to test it out. Do have a GREAT suggestion for a place to meet and eat beforehand only 3.4 miles (9 minutes) from the venue, Bart is always suggesting that we go to eat at the 'THAI HOUSE' with Thai and Chinese cuisine. Check out the menu highlighted; we just love their yums, appetizers and soups plus they have a vegetarian menu and the prices are 'very' reasonable with loads of food on your plate! Heck if Steven Tyler eats there it can't be all that bad; jeans and tees are welcome.... Smile If you view the suggestions from TM's website most are some what pricy and *look* decent types; Thai House is one of those restaurants that the locals tell you about, my hairdresser told me.... Cool

Of course you don’t have to eat, please stop by or come up with another suggestion. PM will be sent hopefully a couple of days before the show so please put your name on the "THE BIG CONCERT LIST" …..

Thanks

<Cathee>

I am just gonna pretend one of you guys may actually read this thread. I was one of the fans that attended your Star Ceremony at the Walk of Fame (in 99) and I just wanted to say that I think you guys are just AWESOME! You are ALL so talented, great showmen, very FUNNY and a great to your fans! Ron, I doubt you will remember, but I had a chance to chat with you (briefly) at the security fence, before Tom and Mike (and FINALLY Howie...miss YOU!!!) showed up and you were so nice! I was SOOOO tempted to ask you to sign my Wildflowers songbook, but I didn't ask, partly because it was a Wildflowers songbook, but mostly because I had read somewhere that you had left the band because you wanted a change from the "spotlight lifestyle", so, I didn't want to make you encomfortable.....when I heard you were rejoining the line-up, I could have kicked myself....maybe at Glendale, huh ; ) Anyway, ALL of you guys really are terrific....I hope you're rockin for MANY MOONS TO COME!

To Benmont Tench:

If you haven't seen this movie, please watch it. Brace yourself for the occasional 'emotional hijackings'.

The movie title is "A Song to Remember"

(1945) The final years of pianist and composer Frederic Chopin including his affair with a French author. Cornel Wilde, Paul Muni

My older son and I are very much looking forward to seeing you in Kansas City on 7/22. I've loved your music for years and years; he became a fan after seeing you in KC back in 2005. Thanks for all the great music throughout the years.

KOKO,
Connie
